A new state-of-the-art university campus has officially opened in Turbat, Balochistan, providing higher education access to thousands of students from one of Pakistan’s most underserved regions. The campus is a satellite facility of a federal university and offers programmes in engineering, computer science, business administration, and natural sciences.<\/p>\n
The establishment of the campus addresses a longstanding gap in higher education infrastructure in Balochistan, where the student-to-university ratio has historically been among the lowest in the country. Local students will now be able to pursue degree programmes without relocating to major cities.<\/p>\n
The campus features modern laboratories, a digital library, student hostels, and scholarship programmes specifically designed for students from low-income families in the province. Female enrolment has been prioritised through dedicated facilities and outreach programmes in surrounding communities.<\/p>\n
